It seems that yesterday was a day with a lot of software releases going on, and today I will start by telling you about a new
release of an image editing program called Color It!, a program developed by Digimage Arts.
"Color It! is a multi-award-winning, fully-featured image editing program with sophisticated paint tools that is easy to learn and use. Quick and efficient, Color It! runs in as little as 6 megabytes of RAM, yet offers powerful capabilities without the high cost and steep learning curve of other image editing programs.", this is the short description of this program that can be found on the producer's website.
Priced at 59.95$, Color It! Can be upgraded for 39.95$, if you own version 4.0 or Enhance 4.0; but if you have a previous version of one of these two programs, or any version of other Digimage Arts software (Digital Darkroom or wwwART), the upgrade price goes up to 49.95$.
The system requirements are pretty low, since you can run this program on any Macintosh computer with a G3 or greater PowerPC processor, including those using Intel CPUs, only 6MB of RAM, at least 20MB of free hard disk space, and a Mac OS X operating system, of course, any version including 10.1 and above. So, if you have Mac OS 9, you'd better upgrade, because this program won't work on it.
The features of this program include a customizable tools palette and over 75 built-in filters and effects, including drop shadow, scratch removal and extrude, but you will also find advanced features such as CMYK color separations and the ability to create custom convolution filters, but the feast doesn't end here, so I advise you to check the DEMO version of this program, as soon as it's going to be available, since there's no such thing available at this time on the official website.
