Colonization Cheats (PC)

Colonization is a computer game by Brian Reynolds and Sid Meier released by Microprose in 1994. It is a turn-based strategy game themed on the early European colonization of the New World, starting in 1492 and lasting until 1850. It was originally released for DOS, and later ported to Windows (1995), the Amiga (1995) and Macintosh (1995).

Colonization has many similarities to Sid Meier's previous Civilization, but the differences are also quite marked. The game begins in 1492. The player is asked to select to control either England, France, The Netherlands, or Spain, the other powers are then played by the computer. This profoundly affects gameplay, since each uses different strategies. There is a choice between a historical map or a randomly generated map; the randomly generated map shifts the focus of the game toward exploration - in this mode the game has considerable replay potential.

CHEATS

Hold Ctrl (for the Windows version) or Alt (for the MS-DOS) version and type "win" during game play to enable cheat mode. In the menus at the top of the screen (for example, "File", etc.), the menu titled "Cheat" will appear. Also, enter one of the following codes at the indicated screen to activate the corresponding cheat function (we have noted if you have to enter the codes in the colony, map or any screen)

Selling boycott items in Europe:
Go to the ship, select an item, and press U.

Destroy any object:
Enable cheat mode. Press V to enable view mode, highlight the object to be destroyed, then press "Shift" + D.
