The sexy Irish actor isn't facing only personal problems with his coping with drugs and alcohol abuse, but also with his first woman stalker. She went up on the stage during Colin's interview with Jay and confronted him about something, only to be escorted out by security.
Closely involved in the promotion of his latest movie, 'Miami Vice', Farrell was present Thursday on the set of the Leno show when a woman from the ticketed audience got up, went to him and started talking with the unsuspecting star.
According to another member of the audience, the stalker gave him something like a book or a packet and whispered something to his ear. She was then heard yelling 'I'll see you in court', to which he answered 'calmly and very collected' 'You're insane'. Colin took her by the arm, led her off the set and asked for security.
The woman was escorted out and a restraining order was issued on her name. It was later revealed that she was Dessarae Bradford, a 31-year-old woman who, during the past two years, has initiated several lawsuits against the actor. All of them have been dismissed by a judge.
Farrell's spokesperson said that the actor had never met the woman in his life and that no charges will be filed against her, especially at the NBC's request. Yet, she will still have to appear in court on August 16 about that restraining order. No footage of the confrontation will be aired during 'The Tonight Show With Jay Leno'.
