Coldplay Cover Rihanna's 'We Found Love'

There's no denying the guys at Coldplay have developed quite a liking for pop princess Rihanna, whom Chris Martin once called one of the world's greatest singers. They also recently covered one of her songs.

The video above is a recording of Coldplay performing “We Found Love,” Rihanna's latest number 1 single.

To say that it's a cover would be an understatement because that usually entails another artist trying to sing another's song while staying true to the original.

What Coldplay does to “We Found Love” is anything but staying true to the original – and a new song is born.

Adding more depth and more feeling to an otherwise generic dance track (with a clear message, but a pop track nonetheless), Coldplay's “We Found Love” is, if you ask Coldplay fans, at least ten times better than the original.
