14 DAY TRIAL // Maintain has released an updated version of its general purpose utility for Mac OS X, Cocktail. Reportedly, the new release adds clearing of the latest (F and G) variants of the RSPlug trojan horse and clearing of the Inqtana.C worm. The release also contains updated Automator actions.

Cocktail 4.3 (Tiger Edition) is the latest version of Cocktail for users running Mac OS X 10.4 – 10.4.11,” the developer explains.
Cocktail is a digital toolset that helps Leopard users squeeze every drop of power from their Macs. The application is basically aimed at simplifying the use of advanced UNIX functions, giving you access to hidden Mac OS X settings. It lets you tweak them more thoroughly, in the sense that you can, for instance, enable or disable journaling for disks, repair disk permissions, or set disk spindown time.
