“Cockneys vs. Zombies” Trailer: This Is How a Zombie Comedy Should Look Like

Every time a new apocalyptic zombie / undead movie comes out, critics are quick to point out that there's no life left to the genre (yes, the pun was intended). “Cockneys vs. Zombies” might just prove them all wrong.

Below is a red-band trailer for the zombie comedy and, for a change, this is actually worth this label.

Written by James Moran (“Severance”) and starring Alan Ford (“Snatch”), this film might be just the thing comedies and zombie movies needed to restore audiences' faith in them.

It's genuinely funny without feeling rehashed and it's also gory enough to qualify as a fully-fledged zombie flick.

“Cockneys vs. Zombies” will be out in the UK on August 31.
