This June 26, the United States World Cup team is scheduled to meet Germany on the field, and many football enthusiasts cannot wait to see how this match will play out.

The problem is that the match coincides with quite a lot of people's working hours. Hence, several fans might find that, because they are at the office, they cannot watch it.

Jurgen Klinsmann, the head coach of the United States football team, is well aware of this problem, and has been cool enough to take it upon himself to solve it, Sky News informs.

In a nutshell, he has written an excuse note asking bosses across the United States to let their employees take some time off from work and go watch the match.

The note, available above, has until now been distributed on several social networking sites, and many agree that it is nothing short of amusing.

“I understand that this absence may reduce the productivity of your workplace, but I can assure you that it is for an important cause,” the note reads.

Furthermore, “The #USMNT has a critical World Cup game vs. Germany and we will need the full support of the nation if we are to advance to the next round. By the way, you should act like a good leader and take the day off as well.”

Whether or not his note has actually managed to get at least one person one day off until now is still unclear.
