We reported yesterday that one of the community managers from Treyarch, the creator of the extremely popular Call of Duty: World at War title, has made it clear that a DLC (Downloadable Content) pack filled with new maps for the multiplayer and the ever so popular Nazy Zombie co-op mode that is unlocked at the end of the game will be announced soon.

And now it seems that the time has arrived for the Treyarch team to unveil new details on what CoD players should expect from this new DLC. First of all, this pack will contain three new multiplayer maps on which players will be able to battle with their enemies in all of the many modes of online interaction present in the game, plus one new map for the Nazy Zombie co-op feature.

Here are the official details on each and every map, as posted by the Treyarch team:

Nightfire

In "Nightfire," players take to the streets of a war-ravaged Berlin with only the flames of the burning city to expose the enemy.

Station

"Station" offers a bombed out underground train station littered with hidden passageways and destroyed subway cars.

Knee Deep

"Knee Deep" takes place on the island of Peleliu in a once tranquil village turned chaotic Japanese command center.

Verrückt (Zombie Asylum) The fan favorite 4-player co-op Nazi Zombies Bonus Mode returns with "Verrückt," a terrifying Zombie asylum featuring more weapons, perks via the addition of Perks-a-Cola machines, electroshock defenses and the endless zombie horde.

Slated for a March release, this DLC pack will be the first of many, says the team, as other surprises are in store for the big number of people who bought CoD: World At War. Until this new content will be released onto the PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 and PC, we can still enjoy the great experience offered by this game.
