Massachusetts-based incident response management solutions provider Co3 Systems is launching in Europe. The company’s services are available to organizations across Europe.

“We’ve already closed our first European customers and started building a pipeline without any local sales presence or marketing program. In exactly the same way that we’ve experienced demand in the US, this is a testament to the need in the market for a better way to manage incident response,” said John Bruce, CEO at Co3 Systems.

“Best practices for handling incident responses need both to evolve constantly and to be hard wired into organisations, to ensure that remediation and reporting is timely, compliant and technically effective.”

The company says that there’s a demand for automated security incident response solutions in Europe, both by local organizations and by ones that have business operations all around the world.

The announcement comes just as the European Union is about to roll out new data protection regulations.

“I have long advocated that good security is about the balance between prevention, detection and response. Having one without the other makes no sense. What we’ve built is the first software to bring people and technology together to provide resilient response,” commented Bruce Schneier, the world-renowned security expert who was recently appointed as Co3 Systems’ CTO.

Co3 Systems has also formed a partnership with OpenSecure, a company that provides actionable cyber intelligence services.

“Quite simply, people need to know what to do when a cyber attack or breach happens. So we think that there is real need, and a real opportunity. We are excited to be the first service provider in Europe to offer an automated, end to end remediation and reporting workflow,” stated Garath Lauder, the managing director of OpenSecure.

Co3 Systems is showcasing its solutions at Infosecurity Europe between April 29 and May 1. The company will demonstrate how its products can help in handling cyber incidents and data breaches.

A lot of data breaches take place these days and it can be a real hassle for an organization to deal with such incidents if they don’t have the right tools for the job.

Co3 Systems offers solutions that can be used not only for incidents that involve personally identifiable information, but also malware infections, distributed denial-of-service (DDOS) attacks, phishing attacks, cyber intrusions and intellectual property theft.

The company’s Privacy and Security modules provide the means for preparing, assessing, managing and mitigating security and privacy incidents.
