Rumors that the two are dating just won’t stop

Rumors about British hottie Robert Pattinson being more than just friends with his “Twilight” co-star Kristen Stewart began a while back, and not for one second ceased to circulate. Now, as the two are back on set filming “New Moon,” the second installment in the franchise, reports are coming in again saying they are dating, but their co-stars are doing their best to squash them down, AceShowbiz reports.

Pattinson, one of the most sought-after young actors of the moment (both personally and professionally), is not dating Kristen, their co-stars are telling the media.

The two are just good friends and, at the same time, excellent actors for making tabloids believe that there was anything real behind the chemistry they had in front of the camera. Moreover, Kristen has a boyfriend, whom she’s been seeing ever since 2006, and she’s the unlikeliest person to cheat, the same co-stars vouch.

“I can’t even think of those two together at all. Kristen has a boyfriend! It’s on-screen and that’s it.” Edi Gathegi says, trying to deny all rumors about the onscreen pair dating in real life as well, rumors that have reached a new intensity as shooting for the movie progresses. Co-star Ashley Greene is of the same opinion, sharing that, in many ways, Robert and Kristen are “victims of their own success.”

“Their chemistry is fantastic, but no, they are not in a romantic relationship. They are good actors [is] basically what it comes down to. That’s kind of the advantage that we had on ‘Twilight.’ Everyone has such great chemistry. With as big a cast as it was, and as young a cast as it was, we all just got along so fantastically.” Greene explains for the media.

In all fairness, reports about Pattinson’s love life have been making the rounds on the Internet for a couple of months now. The 22-year-old British heartthrob was repeatedly linked to Paris Hilton and Natalie Portman, so it was probably likely that a rumor about his co-star Kristen Stewart also emerged, it has been stressed.
