Samsung Galaxy S Advance is the last Galaxy family device announced by the Korean handset maker until Mobile World Congress kicks off on February 27.

Initially slated for a February 6 release at Clove UK, the smartphone has just been delayed due to unknown reasons. The retailer is now listing the Galaxy S Advance as shipping in the week commencing February 27, which moves back the release date of the phone with three weeks.

Until then, customers who want to pre-order the Samsung Galaxy S Advance can do so via Clove UK for only £355 (560 USD or 430 EUR) outright.

Due to marketing reasons Samsung wishes to launch the Galaxy S Advance around the Mobile World Congress trade fair, which is set to begin at the end of the month.

However, given the fact that lots of new devices will be announced at the trade fair, it’s likely that this might disrupt the smartphone’s sales.

Those who are eager to purchase the Galaxy S Advance earlier than the end of the month may be in luck if one of the UK carriers that confirmed the phone launches it within the next two weeks.

Samsung Galaxy S Advance was confirmed by Three, O2 and T-Mobile, but there are no details on the phone’s exact release date or pricing options.

As Clove UK mentions, “Galaxy S Advance improves slightly on the Galaxy S Plus, the previous update to the original Galaxy S handset. The Plus has a slightly larger battery, 1650mAh compared to 1500mAh and there’s also a marginal difference in the dimensions and weight.”

It is also worth mentioning that the Galaxy S Advance has a much better 1 GHz dual core processor and packs 8GB of internal memory, 768MB of RAM, 2GB of ROM and microSD card slot for memory expansion (up to 32GB).
