Bad news for Motorola fans living in the UK, as major retailer Clove has just announced it will postpone the launch of the Motorola RAZR superphone until the next week.

It appears that the first stock of units that was due to arrive tomorrow has been delayed for unknown reasons, for the week commencing November 7.

The only explanation offered by Clove is that “this delay is quite common with brand new devices.”

Motorola RAZR (Spyder) is expected to go live at Clove next week for £454.80 ($723 or 528 EUR) off-contract.

Customers who already pre-ordered the Motorola RAZR from Clove will receive their smartphones as soon as the first shipment will arrive in stock.

Those who want to be notified when Clove receives the first stock of Motorola RAZR units can register their email addresses.
