Kshutdown, a graphical shutdown utility for Linux that allows users to turn off or suspend the computer at the specified time, is now at version 3.0 Beta 8.

This version was supposed to be a final and stable release, but the developer has chosen to release another beta instead.

Highlights of Kshutdown 3.0 Beta 8:

• A new Bookmarks menu has been implemented; • Kshutdown is no longer refusing to do a shutdown. This problem was created by an incompatibility with systems that had the ConsoleKit installed; • The Polish and Czech translations have been updated.

Check out the changelog for a complete list of changes and updates.

Download Kshutdown 3.0 Beta 8 right now from Softpedia. Remember that this is a beta version and it should NOT be installed on production machines. It is intended for testing purposes only.
