Clonezilla Live 2.1.2-20, a Linux distribution based on DRBL, Partclone and udpcast, that allows users to do bare metal backup and recovery, just become the latest stable version.

Clonezilla Live 2.1.2-20 has been released initially as a development version, but the developers have decided turn it into a stable one.

Highlights of Clonezilla Live 2.1.2-20:

• The underlying GNU/Linux operating system has been upgraded to a newer version. The distribution is based on the Debian Sid repository, up until July 3, 2013; • The Linux kernel has been updated to version 3.9.8-1; • A summary of ocs-chkimg will be shown after image is checked; • syslinux has been updated to version 5.01; • "-k1" and "-icds" options have been enabled; • The allocated ramdisk size is now the right size.
