Steven Shiau has announced last night, June 27th, the immediate availability for download of the Clonezilla Live 1.2.12-67 Linux operating system.

Being based on the Debian Sid repository as of June 20th, 2012 and powered by Linux kernel 3.2.20-1, Clonezilla Live 1.2.12-67 includes updated software, bugfixes and minor enhancements.

Among the applications updated in Clonezilla Live 1.2.12-67, we can mention drbl 1.12.14-1drbl, clonezilla 2.5.42-1drbl, Partclone 0.2.49, and Gdisk 0.8.5-1.1drbl.

It is now possible to boot Clonezilla on uEFI machines via Live CD, and the ddrescue package was removed as it is not available in Debian Sid anymore, and because gddrescue is a good replacement.

Last but not least, the "restored Fedora 17 failed to boot via grub 2" bug was fixed in Clonezilla Live 1.2.12-67. Download Clonezilla Live 1.2.12-67 right now from Softpedia.
