Clonezilla Live 2.2.0-31, a Linux distribution based on DRBL, Partclone, and udpcast that allows users to do bare metal backup and recovery, is now ready for download.

Another stable version has been released for Clonezilla Live 2.2.0-31. The developers usually push a few intermediary and unstable versions between stable releases, but in this case, they made an exception.

“The underlying GNU/Linux operating system was upgraded. This release is based on the Debian Sid repository (as of 2013/Nov/25. The clonezilla package was updated to 3.8.14-drbl1 and the drbl package has been updated to 2.6.15-drbl1,” reads the announcement.

Also, the package htop has been added, the boot parameter "noprompt" has been replaced by "noeject" in live-boot version 3, and the Ubuntu-based Clonezilla live no longer fails to make the preset keyboard-layout work.
