Clock Tower 3 is a video game developed and published by Capcom Inc Ltd. Launched in December 2002, it was only released for the PlayStation 2 gaming platform from Sony. It is classed as a survival horror title with action elements that can be played from a third person perspective.
There are other three games in the series, Clock Tower - The First Fear, Clock Tower and Clock Tower II: The Struggle Within, which were developed by Human Entertainment and published by ASCII Entertainment and Agetec Incorporated.
For the first time in the long running series, in Clock Tower 3, the player has direct control over the actions of the main character while the previous games employed point-and-click mechanics. Clock Tower 3 is also the first in the series not to feature multiple endings. Players will take on the role of Alyssa, a schoolgirl who is approaching her 15th birthday. She must undertake a quest to find her mother and then save herself from the Dark Gentleman.
The game begins with Alyssa being summoned home from the boarding school she is attending. The one to call her home is her mother, but she is nowhere to be found and a scary stranger greets the girl upon her arrival. The spooky denizens of the house can only be appeased by returning to them items of emotional value, which you will be doing for the most part of the game.
