14 DAY TRIAL // On the red carpet at the Oscars 2015 last month, famous Hollywood actor and director Clint Eastwood made his first public appearance with his new girlfriend, Christina Sandera, whom he started dating shortly after he separated from his wife Dina.
Sandera, it emerged, had worked as hostess on his ranch and was 51 years old, which made her his junior by 33 years. Word online had it that she’d met Clint’s family before she moved in with him, and everyone was happy with their relationship.
They might have been less enthusiastic about the affair, had they known the full truth, the Daily Mail suggests: Christina is a violent alcoholic and a man beating gold-digger, as per her ex-husband.
Raging alcoholic, mindless spender, violent partner
Before Christina got a job at Eastwood’s California ranch, where they met, she was married for a short time to Paul Wainscoat. In 2003, before they tied the knot, she was arrested after attacking him in a drunken rage.
Despite the arrest, Wainscoat refused to press charges and even went ahead and married her. One year later, he called the police again to report his wife had attacked him, and shortly afterwards, he also filed for divorce.
In the documents, obtained by the British tabloid, he painted a very gruesome picture of the hell he’d been put through while with Christina. Even taking into account the fact that certain divorces tend to get extremely nasty, with each side out to make the other look bad even if that means bending the truth a bit, Mr. Wainscoat’s account is still chilling.
Apparently, the last time Christina put a beating on him, she woke up in the middle of the night screaming for her dead kitten, which she thought he had killed. On another occasion, she threatened to take an axe to all the furniture in the house.
She was a compulsive spender, who was struggling with severe anxiety, depression and paranoia, and she also drank in excess, which made all her outbursts considerably worse. She was going to anger management classes, but he believed they didn’t work.
Christina was also a gold-digger, who tricked him into spending $90,000 (€82,763) on their wedding by promising she would cover half of that amount out of a trust fund that proved to be empty. She wanted the wedding to be the most eccentric thing ever, and for her to feel like the “queen” she deserved to be.
Christina and Clint have been dating for almost a year
In June 2014, Christina was photographed with Clint for the first time, out running errands and obviously unfazed by the attention they were getting from the paparazzi. This was the first sign that the romance wasn’t fresh.
Hours after the photos hit the web, unnamed sources confirmed that the two had been seeing each other for a very long time, and that they were even living together - in the house he had shared with Dina until not long.
The fact that they walked the red carpet at the Oscars hand in hand was further confirmation that the relationship was serious. If anything of what Mr. Wainscoat is saying is true, Clint might want to reconsider.
