14 DAY TRIAL // Continuing in the same line of TV programming of the type “in the life of the rich and famous,” E! has just picked up another reality show, one that will document the life of Clint Eastwood's family, it has emerged.
Considering the success of all the Kardashian reality series, it's no wonder the network is courting more celebrities to do the same type of shows.
What's surprising about this report is that Clint Eastwood himself would agree to do it. However, that he did, TMZ reports.
“Clint Eastwood is going the way of the Kardashians… TMZ has learned his wife and two of his daughters are currently shooting a family reality show intended to air on the E! network,” the e-zine reports.
As with every reality show out there of this type, this one too will try to offer a look behind the glamorous facade, to show that celebrities are just like us regular people.
At the same time, it will also document the lives and aspirations of Clint's daughters. Since one of them wants to be an actress, a reality show is a starting point just as good as another.
“The show will explore what it’s like to live in a family of 'Hollywood royalty.' It will focus on the relationship between Clint’s wife Dina Eastwood, their daughter Morgan and Clint’s 18-year-old daughter Francesca… an aspiring actress,” TMZ writes, citing unnamed sources familiar with the project.
Clint, as far as he's concerned, will only have a couple of appearances on the show. He's already talked to producers about not wanting to be a main character.
“The show is being produced by reality powerhouse Bunim/Murray – the same people who produce all of the Kardashian reality shows, along with 'The Real World' and 'Bad Girls Club',” TMZ further says.
While no other details are available about production right now, seeing how TMZ claims that hopes are high the show will be on air sometime in the following weeks, it's safe to assume the Eastwood fam has already started shooting it – or will do so very soon.
