Amanda Berry, Gina DeJesus and Michelle Knight have given an interview, showing their faces on camera for the first time since being discovered in Ariel Castro's home.

The Cleveland kidnapping victims and survivors have taken the opportunity to thank everyone who looked for them and supported them after having been found.

As I wrote, they were locked up in Castro's home for a decade, beaten, raped, and even forced to miscarry in Knight's case.

“I would like to thank everyone who has donated to the (Cleveland) Courage Fund for these girls. I'd also like to thank the family for having so much passion and the strength to go along with us,” Gina's dad, Felix DeJesus, expresses.

Knight adds that she doesn't want to go through life as a victim, defined by the gruesome experience she went through. She has also announced plans to help and council other victims.
