Peter Baldwin from the ClearFoundation has announced yesterday, April 24th, that ClearOS Community 6.2 is now available for download.

Just a few weeks ago, the developers have chosen to rename the old distribution from ClearOS Enterprise to ClearOS Community and add another version, ClearOS Professional.

ClearOS 6.2 features a new Marketplace, providing a quick way to install both open source and paid apps. It also features 64-bit support, a new graphical installer, improved usability, better VM support, a modernized build system, and the migration to the latest upstream 6.x version.

A few important functions and applications are expected to arrive in 2012 such as Zarafa Community and Small Business Edition (beta testing starts next week), Wireless support, Reporting, and Media Server

A complete changelog can be found in the official announcement.
