Mac cleaning utility updates with new features and fixes

MacPaw has released a new version of CleanMyMac, the company’s all-in-one cleaning utility and application uninstaller for Mac OS X. The new version adds new features, improvements, and bug fixes.

Upon launching the new app, users will see a simplified and redesigned Welcome window.

Per the release notes for CleanMyMac 1.10.0, MacPaw is proud to announce the addition of Facebook results sharing. The existing Twitter integration is now much improved, said the developer.

They’ve added a new feature that lets you search inside scan results to quickly find and remove only needed items, and a new Help window with improved MacPaw Support Center.

The prefs window has been reorganized as well.

Apparently there are a lot of CleanMyMac users in Poland, as Polish users now have their own language support built inside the application.

Finally, the updated CleanMyMac adds iPhoto 9 Trashes support, meaning the app will handle all the photos you’ve deleted in iPhoto with a simple mouse click.

Filed under ‘bug fix’, the following additional changes have been made in CleanMyMac 1.10.0:

- Improved Knowledge base, CleanMyMac will now show more accurate results in Application Uninstaller and Leftovers. - Improved behavior and usability of Quick Erase and some other modules. - Improved German, Italian and French localizations. - Fixed lots of small bugs and issues.
