Power supplies are dull-looking things, most of the time, even when they have modular designs, so SilverStone has decided to change the tune somewhat.

When making the ST50F-ES230, a member of the Strider Essential Series, it gave it a completely white coating.

Sure, the 500W output will probably make it appealing to mainstream users and, thus, PCs without a side window, so few will know it is white.

Still, the PSU is a nice change from the normal, drab metal grey.

ST50F-ES230 has an efficiency of 80-85%, Active PFC, a single 12V rail (34A) and a single, low-noise fan of 120mm diameter. The MTBF is of 100,000 hours.

Alas, we do not know the price yet. Everything else of relevance can be found here though. Shipments will begin next week, so the price should be discovered in a matter of days.
