ClamTk, a GUI frontend for ClamAV using Perl and Gtk libraries developed to make the life of Linux users a lot easier, has just hit version 5.03.

Even if it's just a frontend, ClamTk still provides the same functionality as the one that only runs in a terminal.

Highlights of ClamTk 5.03:

• The scheduler has been added again. This means that cron or cronie are now back as a dependency; • The requirements for some distros have been changed and the application now requires gnome-icon-theme-full, and gnome-icon-theme. For Fedora, you will also need gnome-icon-theme-legacy; • Extra gettext subs have been removed; • The ugly copyright symbol has been fixed; • Minor help documentation and man page tweaks have been implemented.

Check the official website for a complete backlog of changes and new features in this applications. You can download ClamTk 5.03 right now from Softpedia.
