Ckrush Entertainment announced that it has formed a "Minisode" Studio dedicated to the production and distribution of short-form video content for mobiles and the Internet. The Ckrush studio will develop mobisodes and webisodes of up to five minutes in length both in the forms of mobile series and as standalone episodes.

Ckrush will use its own production capabilities as well as its relationships with Hollywood creatives to develop and produce original content covering all genres. In addition, the company plans to provide the members of its online creative communities, LiveMansion.com, AudioStreet.net and MixStreet.net with the opportunity to star in, direct, produce and create soundtracks for the studio.

"We consider minisodes to be a real growth area and highly complementary to our entertainment and digital business lines," commented Jeremy Dallow, CEO of Ckrush. "We are well positioned to produce, distribute and integrate high quality original content across the online and mobile spectrums. The Ckrush minisode studio will be also another exciting source of opportunities for our online creative communities."

The original content created by the studio will be made available to the public using different distribution methods, with some of the content being exclusively available from the company's websites. Ckrush is also taking into consideration the possibility of forming co-production partnerships with popular websites and their advertisers. The company has already reported some success in this direction when its AudioStreet.net partnered with Michael Eisner's Tornante Company to provide original music to the very successful web-based series "Prom Queen."

Ckrush produces feature films and television programming, develops and maintains social communities websites, such as LiveMansion.com, AudioStreet.net and MixStreet. Ckrush's feature films portfolio includes "Beer League," starring Artie Lange; "National Lampoon's TV the Movie," starring Steve O and Wee Man known from the "Jackass" series; and "National Lampoon's Pledge This," starring Paris Hilton.
