The latest installment in the popular Civilization franchise has just received a humongous patch that includes a buck load of balancing fixes, which are meant to improve players’ overall gaming experience.

Patch 10.0.2.13 has just been released on Steam and brings a slew of bug fixes as well:

- Mod Browser - The "Get Mods" button is now hidden if the user has disabled the Steam overlay; - Ottoman naval upkeep is now fixed. Save games that were started before the fix will not be corrected; - German UA and Oligarchy social policy now work together correctly.

The update also adds lots of performance improvements, especially in the renderer, as well as balancing fixes:

- Ballistics now requires Railroads. This will force the AI to get railroads before getting too deep in the tree; - Pillaging tiles now awards +25 hit points to the pillaging unit; - Tweaks to culture border growth.
