The development team at Firaxis and publisher 2K Games are delivering a launch trailer for the Brave New World expansion for Civilization V, showing how industrialization and modern ideologies can change the nature of a faction.

The new content package for the turn-based strategy experience is designed to make the entire late game more appealing for players, with new mechanics linked to trade, culture and diplomacy.

The various civilizations also have access to new ideologies that can be used to shape their abilities and give them the edge over opponents.

Firaxis is also promising a better Artificial Intelligence for computer factions and there are eight new factions that players can choose from.

Brave New World will be launched on July 12 all over the world and pre-orders can already be placed via Steam and other digital distribution services.
