14 DAY TRIAL // Soren Johnson, the designer best known for leading development work on the much praised Civilization IV, is set to work with Stardock on a number of coming strategy video games, although he is not joining the company fulltime.
Writing on the forums at Stardock, Brad Wardell, the chief executive officer, states, “Soren Johnson who has come to Stardock, at least for a while, to oversee the design of all our games. I think his impact on our upcoming (think 2014/2015/2016) will be pretty obvious.”
Johnson tells Joystiq that he will be acting as consultant, although he refused to talk about specific projects.
Stardock has created such strategy titles as Galactic Civilizations, Demigod, Elemental: Fallen Enchantress and The Political Machine.
Soren Johnson also worked at Zynga as a design director, but did not produce any titles in that role.
