The official website of the City of Angels Camp, California, (angelscamp.gov) has been hacked and defaced by a hacker who calls himself Dr. SHA6H, CWN reports.

The site has been restored, but the incident once again shows that many US .gov sites still lack proper security measures.

One noteworthy fact is that this is not the first time when angelscamp.gov is hacked. The site was also breached back in 2005 and in 2011.

As far as the hacker is concerned, his zone-h.org account shows that he has defaced a large number of government sites over the past few days, including ones from Vietnam, Brazil, Philippines, France, Argentina, Turkey, Guyana, Ecuador, Tanzania, and Bosnia and Hertzegovina.

The list of targets includes Guyana’s Parliament, the Civil Service Commission of the Republic of Maldives, the Ministry of Defense and National Security of the Maldives and Vietnam’s Department of Animal Health.
