The stations will be made entirely from locally-sourced wood

The city of Gothenburg in Sweden is getting ready to build several solar-powered EV charging stations that will provide green energy for electric cars, scooters and even bikes.

Inhabitat reports that the charging stations are to be designed by Kjellgren Kaminsky Architecture. Unlike other similar stations, they will be made entirely from locally-sourced wood.

Hence the fact that many believe that they will be some of Sweden's greenest facilities.

By the looks of it, the stations will only need about 15 minutes to charge each vehicle.

While waiting for their car, bike or scooter to “soak up” power, customers are welcome to spend some time surfing the net in a Wi-Fi connected courtyard and have a cup of coffee or two.

Those who enjoy exercising can even visit an outdoor gym.
