Towns, a city building and management game that also has many RPG features, can be purchased on Steam for Linux and has just received a major update.

Towns is a game built by two developers, Xavi Canal and Ben Palgi. It went through the Steam Greenlight system and gathered enough votes in order to be published on Steam.

Highlights of the latest Towns update: • A bury system has been integrated; • A mod loader has been added; • A way to restrict the hauling and autoequipping by layer has been implemented; • A way to restrict the heroes exploring layers has been implemented; • The Townies happiness is now showed when you right click on them; • Elven names have been given to the elf heroes.

More details about this patch can be found in the official announcement. If you are interested in this game, you should check the official Steam website.
