14 DAY TRIAL // Citi has teamed up with Best Buy to launch the first mobile rewards app for owners of an Apple iPhone or iPod touch. Customers are offered a convenient way to redeem points from Citi ThankYou Rewards, while existing members can opt to shop and redeem ThankYou Points and pick up products at Best Buy, or even have them shipped anywhere in the States.
Upon downloading and installing Citi ThankYou Rewards, members will be prompted to sign in, at which point they can search and browse through a broad selection of Best Buy products via the ThankYou Rewards catalog.
Those interested in buying something can immediately redeem rewards at their Best Buy store.
Users also have to do this remotely, by scanning barcodes on product packaging at the store, or by typing in the UPC code. You can even search a product by name and the app will deliver, according to Citi.
Users can pick up their stuff at the local Best Buy store and, if there’s a promotion during the time of their purchase, customers can even reap the benefits of an ongoing discount.
