14 DAY TRIAL // Cisco has completed the acquisition of intelligence cybersecurity solutions provider Sourcefire for an aggregate purchase price of around $2.7 billion (€2 billion).
By purchasing Sourcefire, Cisco enhances its advanced threat protection portfolios.

Sourcefire employees will join the Cisco Security Group. Sourcefire’s Founder and CTO, Martin Roesch, becomes VP and chief architect of the Cisco Security Group.
