14 DAY TRIAL // Owners of Windows Phone 7-based Nokia Lumia devices have now the possibility to take advantage of the features and capabilities of two new Nokia applications, namely Cinemagraph and Camera Extras, both of which have previously been available for Windows Phone 8 devices alone.
According to Nokia, the new flavor of the Camera Extras application is now available for download for all owners of Nokia Lumia 900, Lumia 800, Lumia 710, Lumia 610 and Lumia 510 smartphones.
Furthermore, the company notes that Cinemagraph has been released on Nokia Lumia 900, Lumia 800, and Lumia 710 smartphones, and that it will arrive on Nokia Lumia 610 and Lumia 510 devices in the coming weeks.
“When combined with the great new features on Windows Phone 7.8, your Nokia Lumia will feel like a new phone with a wealth of new experiences to play with,” a post on Nokia Conversations reads.
For those out of the loop, we should note that the Cinemagraph application enables users to add animation to a specific part of a picture taken with the smartphone.
Furthermore, the app also enables users to easily share their creations with their friends over social media sites like Twitter and Facebook, courtesy of the memories.nokia.com website.
As for the Camera Extras application, it comes to devices with features such as Smart Shoot, Panorama, Action Shot and a self-timer, to further enhance what users can do with the camera on their phones.
“The updated version uses burst mode to take a sequence of photos so you can choose your favorite shot and then remove unwanted moving objects. With UI improvements it really feels like the Smart Camera found in our Windows Phone 8 range,” said post continues.
