14 DAY TRIAL // Kim Kardashian isn’t the only high-profile celebrity to get engaged on her birthday though she’s inarguably among the few to make of it a big television event. Rapper Future proposed to Ciara on her birthday over the weekend – and she said yes.
On Twitter, Ciara had been dropping hints about how her birthday was the best ever and how she’d never want to wake up from such a dream, assuming she was sleeping, so many guessed that she’d probably gotten engaged.
She confirmed that just hours ago, when she made her first public appearance with the massive diamond ring Future proposed to her with. You don’t have to take our word for it, but it’s absolutely gorgeous.
Ciara hosted a party at the Moet Rose Lounge Houston in Texas in honor of her birthday, and she made sure photographers got a good look at the giant rock on her finger. Not that anyone could have missed it, if you check out these photos of it over at the Daily Mail.

The custom ring is named “Past Present and Future Emerald Cut Diamond Ring” and “features 15 carats of emerald diamonds on an eternity style band with more diamonds,” People magazine reports.
Avianne & Co. says the design of the bauble was so challenging that it “took longer to actually design than it did to produce,” but you can probably guess that from the photo.
“We went through several molds and concept models before landing on the proper design, which allowed for maximum shine and stability in the diamonds. This vision of blending ring styles together allowed for a very unique ring,” a rep for the company says.
Ciara and Future have been dating since January this year. The happy couple is yet to announce a wedding date.
