Ciara Goes Naked for Fiddy - Check It Out!

Man, looks like at least one great reason to buy Fiddy's album (kidding - it's actually quite good, if you're into his style). But just take a look at some of the artwork that accompanies the album in question - and you'll see my point.

It's been said regularly that the rapper promotes himself as some sort of rugged sex symbol, and some of his songs (think Candy Shop and, more recently, Amusement Park or Peep Show) offer a better explanation of what that means - better than I could give, that is. And in the same tradition, looks like Fiddy's gone visual as well - only this time, it's not the hot ladies in his music videos, but rather a celebrity in her own right - and I'm talking about pop singer Ciara.

I have to confess, I rather like it. It's sensual and intense - and very much in the spirit of Fiddy, without being lewd or over-the-top (for once). And I bet people will start wondering whether there's a little something-something going on between these two. Which can't hurt 50 Cent's album sales - or his "hot lover" image - or Ciara's already hot reputation for being one sexy lady.

The thing is I must admit I'm surprised - Ciara looks naked but she's not (or so I hope) and Fiddy himself is keeping his jeans on. I do have to wonder what has been going on in his mind while they did the photo shoot - or maybe it's just very obvious. But if the lyrics of his songs are to be taken in any way seriously, I really don't think he was thinking about the weather, somehow. He's often been criticized in the past for keeping up the same " I wanna give it to you" routine, which he's refined to the point where I can't think of any rapper who knows how to tell us all about what he'd like to do to a lady (or several) in a more direct, suggestively dirty-and-yet-stylish way.

So, Ciara and Fiddy look like they're enjoying themselves - and I really hope there's more of this, because it's hot. I also hope they keep it "nice" and don't get down to more dirty stuff - it would totally ruin the effect, I think.
