Tool empowers virtually every iOS user to route crash logs to the hackers

iPhone hacker Joshua Hill, also known as p0sixninja in Twitter circles, has announced that the Chronic Dev Team’s crash reporting tool created to speed up jailbreak development with the help of the users, is now an open source download.

“CDevReporter source is now public on our github github.com/Chronic-Dev/cd…”, reads the latest tweet from p0sixninja.

You know this is important because the last time Hill took the time to tweet was on Dec. 19 when mice were eating away at his house.

Jokes aside, CDevReporter was launched in November with the purpose of empowering iOS customers to submit crash reports containing data for developing the next untethered jailbreak.

As Chronic Dev explained at the time, CdevReporter ‘neuters’ iTunes to route the crash logs to the Chronic Dev’s servers.
