Google is finally updating Chromebook owners to newer versions of Google Chrome. Stable channel users got Google Chrome 15, beta users got Google Chrome 16 and dev channel users finally got Google Chrome 17.

New features related to the updates revolve mostly around the new features in Chrome itself, though there are some Chrome OS specific updates as well.

All Chromebooks are now sporting a new Flash Player plugin, version 11.0.1.152 for the dev channel.

Beta channel users now get the new versioning scheme for Chrome OS 11.93.65.0, in their case. Dev channel users were already using this format. Stable channel users still get the old format, in Chrome OS 1011.137.

All users should be getting the updates soon if they haven't already. If you don't have a Chromebook, perhaps you might like to know that they're now cheaper than ever.
