Chromebook users who have lots of pictures to store up will be interested to hear about this new feature that has just been added to the roller-coaster.

Now, when you connect your phone/tablet, camera and even storage card to your Chomebook, the files will be automatically stored to Google+ Photos, Google unveiled. Don’t start fretting yet, because the photographs you upload will be set to private by default, so nobody but you will have access to them.

So the app will perform an automatic backup, so you can be sure you won’t be losing your photographic thesaurus anytime soon.

Auto backup is a feature that can be turned on and off and that runs silently in the background of the device.

It’s a nice and easy solution for those who are into taking photographs a lot or are really active on social networks image-wise.

It’s actually pretty good to see some features Android users are familiar with arrive to the Chrome OS environment, as well.

The feature will also work with video files, so from now on your family home movies will be safe and sound.

If you’re connected to the Internet, the update for the application should happen automatically. In case it doesn't, you can go ahead and check the Chrome web store and see what the latest version of Google+ Photos running on your Chromebook is.
