Chrome Dev 17.0.942.0 Fixes New Tab Page Issue

Chrome Dev has been updated to version 17.0.942.0, which carries a new build of V8 JavaScript engine as well as a brief set of fixes.

The JavaScript engine did not go through many changes. Version 3.7.7 of V8 fixed an issue referring to the heap profiler, which did not show properties getters in fast properties case.

Fixes to the browser itself refer to the New Tab Page reordering issue. Also, the new version adds policy support for disabling the Cloud Print Connector.

On Windows, the list of fixes includes an issue where Chrome app windows would hang. This is actually an older problem, and the current fix is only a workaround for the original problem.

These are the most notable problems that have been mended in the current release, but progress consists in eliminating far more problems.
