Chrome Dev 16.0.912.4 Fixes 'Instant' Stability Issue

The latest release of Chrome Dev, 16.0.912.4, does not come with important changes. It does not introduce new features, but instead focuses on fixing issues in the previous Dev version of the browser.

At the top of the change list there is a new version of JavaScript engine (V8 3.6.6.5) and some stability issues affecting printing and “Instant” feature in the browser, which starts the search the moment you start typing the query in Omnibox.

Some problems with Pepper 3D (introduced in the previous Dev release) also got fixed on the Mac version of the browser. The issue would occur upon running a Native Client 3D module, as the page would crash unexpectedly.

Another bug squashed in the latest revision of Google Chrome solves issues between Pepper 3D and dynamic GPU switching. Again, this occurred on Mac systems.
