Shortly after changing the name of its applications store from Android Market to Google Play, the search giant turned its focus on its latest mobile browser for Android devices, Chrome.

Chrome Beta for Android has just been updated and promises to offer an improved experience for those who own Ice Cream Sandwich compatible devices.

This would be the second update since Chrome for Android has been released in the Android Market (Google Play).

However, this is only a maintenance update that fixes several bugs and addresses some issues in the compatibility check, which prevented the application from starting up on some devices.

Some known issues are still present and will probably be addressed in future updates. Chrome Beta for Android is now available as a free download via Google Play and it should be compatible with all devices running Android 4.0 and up.
