Roughly one day after announcing the availability of version 26.0.1410.26 of its Chrome Beta for Android mobile browser, Google made available for download a new flavor of the application, namely 26.0.1410.28, aimed at delivering a series of fixes to users.

Starting with this release, Nexus 7 users will be able to update to Chrome 26, Google notes. Furthermore, the new app iteration resolves an issue with short flings decelerating too fast.

There is also a patch for the password sync issue that affected users upgrading from Chrome 25, and the development team notes that this fix will roll out over the next few days.

However, there are still a series of known issues in the app, including some that will result in occasional crashes. Google Chrome 26.0.1410.28 Beta for Android can be found on this page on Softpedia.
