The stable version of the mobile browser has seen an update as well

On Monday, the Google Chrome Team has announced the availability of a new flavor of the Chrome Beta for Android mobile browser, one that is currently available for download as version 34.0.1847.36.

According to a post on the Chrome Releases blog, the new mobile application iteration was pushed out with a series of crash fixes and performance improvements packed inside.

The most important of these address problems with the battery usage and are meant to optimize the battery drain.

Various other fixes were also included in the new browser update, as detailed in the SVN revision log. Users who download the new browser iteration and discover more bugs in it are encouraged to report them.

The updated version of Chrome Beta for Android arrives only a few days after the stable flavor of the mobile browser received an update as well.

Currently up for grabs as version 33.0.1750.136, Chrome for Android was updated with a series bug fixes too, including one that resolved an issue where users were continuously prompted to sign in.
