Google is pushing the recently revealed Android L Material Design to more of the applications available for its mobile operating system, and Chrome Beta is the latest to have received it.

The new browser iteration arrives on devices as version 37.0.2062.39 and should already be available for download via the Google Play store.

As part of the update, users will enjoy the aforementioned Material Design UI refresh, along with a simplified sign-in, and various bug fixes and performance improvements.

According to Google, in the updated Chrome beta, as long as users are signed into the browser, they won’t need to sign in again on Google websites such as Gmail, Maps, or Search.

For that, they will need to go to Settings > Sign in to Chrome. As more Google accounts are added to the device, users will be automatically signed in to the same accounts on the web.

“In addition to having your accounts a click away, your bookmarks, passwords, and other Chrome stuff will be kept in sync across your devices, using the account you choose,” Google’s Product Manager Travis McCoy explains in a blog post.

All of the above enhancements are expected to make it to the stable version of Chrome 37 for Android, which should arrive in a few weeks.
