Faux trailer is incredibly funny, potentially offensive
Christoph Waltz was the host of the latest issue of Saturday Night Live and one of the skits that’s gotten more people talking was the faux trailer for “Djesus Uncrossed.” You will find it in full below.Fans will know that Waltz attained worldwide acclaim for his role in Quentin Tarantino’s “Inglourious Basterds.” In 2012, he starred in “Django Unchained,” another Tarantino movie that earned him critical and commercial praise.
“Djesus Uncrossed” would be the final chapter in a hypothetical trilogy, according to the faux trailer. Waltz, of course, plays Djesus – with the H in Djesus H. Christ being silent.
As was to be expected, the video has already gotten many talking about whether some line has been crossed, albeit in the name of comedy.
Not being a religious person, I can’t find anything wrong with the skit but do check it out to let me know if you agree with those saying there’s reason for offense or not.
