The oddly beautiful actress, whom we know ever since she was a little girls who played with rats and spider in 'The Adams Family', is now a 26-year-old woman, in charge of her own career and on a rapidly ascending track to the A-listers.
But Christina Ricci is and always will be one of Hollywood's oddities, to say the least. In a recent interview, published in 'W' Magazine she revealed more information about her personal life, although she normally is very coy on the subject.
It seems that acting is not Christina's only driving passion; she also likes to shop like crazy. Her goal in life is - according to her - to buy enough clothes so that she will never have to go shopping again. She wants to be able to walk into her closets and just reach out her hand and find anything that she might ever need.
Another thing that Ricci revealed about herself is that she is absolutely crazy about shoes. She has so many pairs that, at one point, she took out and threw all her books from the shelves to make room for the increasing number of pairs of shoes.

'I have more shoes than books. At first I was so embarrassed I didn't want anybody to come over [to my house]. And then I was like "I'm obviously not an idiot". So I painted it bright pink', she says about the makeover she gave to her bookshelves.
But compulsive shopping is something that her manager is strongly opposed to and he advised her to stop throwing her money away on clothes and shoes. 'I was told by my business manager that I have to stop buying clothes. I'm not allowed to buy any more fur. No more jewelery. I spent a lot of money', the big-eyed actress admits.
She should rest assured that she's not an idiot, even though she painted her bookcase in bright pink and placed her shoes on it. There are some celebrities - see Victoria Beckham's case - who openly admitted to never have read a book in their entire life. At least Ricci still has
some books to show for...
