Christina Applegate and fiancé Martyn LeNoble have just become first-time parents: the actress gave birth to a baby girl in an LA hospital. They named the child Sadie Grace LeNoble, her rep says for Us Magazine.

Christina, who welcomed her first pregnancy after a brave fight with breast cancer and a double mastectomy, is doing well, says her publicist.

Her and Martyn’s baby daughter is also doing well: she’s healthy and happy.

“The Going the Distance actress and her fiance, rocker Martyn LeNoble, welcomed Sadie Grace LeNoble on Thurs. Jan. 27 in L.A., her rep tells Us Magazine,” the publication writes.

“‘Mother and daughter are doing great,’ the rep says. Proud papa LeNoble posted the news on his Facebook page late Monday noting that Sadie Grace weighed in at 7 lbs., 8 oz.,” Us further reports.

Throughout her pregnancy, Christina kept in close contact with her fans, constantly updating them on how things were going on her Twitter.

Just recently, she wrote that she couldn’t believe she’d been pregnant for so long, but “FYI, it takes almost 10 months to make a person.”

Christina and Martyn got engaged last year on Valentine’s Day but, so far, no word yet on whether they have any wedding plans too.

They first confirmed the pregnancy in September last year.

Speaking of Martyn and how much he helped her overcome her cancer ordeal, in an older interview, Applegate noted that she probably couldn’t have done it without him – and that she’d be eternally grateful to him for that.

“I have a small but mighty support system and Martyn has really been an incredible part of my life,” the actress revealed in an older interview, as cited by Us.

“Without him, I don’t know if I could’ve gone through any of it. He came around at a time when there was a lot of loss in my life on many levels, so he’s been a really incredible help,” she added.
