After the divorce announcement, Christina Aguilera started piling on the pounds, which is only normal given the circumstances. At last night’s Michael Jackson tribute concert, Michael Forever, the star hit a very low note with the way she looked. While there’s no denying that
her performance was as solid as ever, making for one of the highlights of the night, it was the way Christina looked that got tongues wagging like never before.
As the pictures attached to this article will confirm, she first stepped out on stage in a black leotard and fishnets, with a black and silver jacket and the biggest hair she’s ever rocked since “Lady Marmalade.”
Halfway through her performance, she switched outfits, changing into a body hugging dress that, while better than the leotard, was definitely not doing her any favors.
Voices online are saying that she should seriously consider firing her stylist for putting her through this and getting her ridiculed by all celebrity pundits in the blogosphere.
“Her body has CHANGED, people. She’s beautiful and does not – and should not – need to be stuffed into sausage casing. What’s the point? It results in photographs like these ones that are so unflattering!”

“We need Christina to wear clothes which suit her body. There’s no shame in that – she has curves now, which is great! We don’t need fabulous singers like her to pander to stereotypical stage wear. And the hair? And the make-up?” the same e-zine asks.
Other publications (in fact, most publications) agree: Christina was very poorly dressed and even worse styled.
She’s always been a fan of tight and minuscule outfits but, at this point, she could do with a more mature style, less makeup and a more natural looking weave: meaning, exactly the contrary of how she looked at the much hyped MJ tribute.
