Singer Christina Aguilera decided to take all her close friends and go to Mexico for the weekend.

Aguilera, 25, engaged to music executive Jordan Bratman, flew with her girlfriends to Palmilla resort in Cabo San Lucas. After they have spent their day at the pool, the singer and all her girls were spotted later in the night partying at the trendy clubs Cabo Wabo and Mi Casa.

Christina, wearing a sparkly "Bride to be" tiara, novelty veil and a frilly lace garter, also showed off a B-pendant, from her soon to be surname Bratman.

A source told Britain's Daily Mirror newspaper: "Christina and her friends had a great time. They spent the whole night dancing and giggling and just being really girlie."

Christina is well known for her tumultuous romantic life.


After failed relationships with Latin dancer Jorge Santos (chronicled in her song "Infatuation" from her second album Stripped) and an unnamed producer speculated to be Dallas Austin, she started dating music executive Jordan Bratman.

After three years, their engagement was announced in February 2005. In an interview with MTV at an Oscar party, she said she would like to have her wedding in the winter of 2005.

Talking about her wedding dress, the singer confessed: "The dress will be conservative. Don't expect the sort of stuff that hangs off my when I'm on stage. I want white and kind of traditional."
